Facetting.com is a product catalogue. The site is not currently enrolled in any affiliate program. Outbound links from product pages go directly to the source retailer (Rio Grande, Kingsley North, Contenti, Gem Rock Auctions, Mineral Auctions, or the manufacturer’s own site) and do not carry affiliate attribution. The site operator earns nothing from outbound clicks at this time.
An application to the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program is pending. Applications to specialty-retailer affiliate programs (Rio Grande, Kingsley North, Contenti) may follow. If and when any such relationship is approved, the required disclosure language for that program will be added to this page and the relevant outbound links will begin to carry the program’s attribution. The change will be visible to readers before any tagged link is served.
All outbound retailer links open in a new tab and carry rel="sponsored nofollow noopener". The sponsored attribute is applied prospectively so that, when affiliate attribution is later added, the markup is already correct; it does not currently represent paid placement.
Product listings are seeded from publicly available manufacturer and retailer product information. The seed catalogue will be progressively replaced by data fetched from retailer APIs and feeds as those integrations are wired up. Each product page shows the timestamp of the row’s last sync.
Product descriptions are generated from manufacturer specifications in a neutral, third-person voice. The site does not publish hands-on reviews, reviewer bylines, “best of” lists, tutorials, or recommendations. No products on this site have been physically tested by the operator. Reference entries at /r/ are encyclopedic descriptions of equipment and material categories drawn from public factual references; they do not endorse specific products.
