A single stainless steel dop stick with a flat end face and a 4 mm working diameter. The shaft is sized at 1/2 inch for compatibility with the standard quill collet on bench faceting machines.
Stainless steel dop sticks differ from other materials in their thermal behavior under wax-based adhesives; stainless steel is preferred where corrosion is a concern.
