The Facetron Standard is a rigid-mast faceting machine produced by Jarvis Tool & Machine. It is offered in a 96-index configuration with a digital angle readout and a 1/12 HP variable-speed DC motor.
Manufacturer-published spindle runout is 0.0006 inch. The quill accepts 1/2-inch dop shafts and is compatible with the majority of commercially available cutting and polishing laps. An 8-inch master lap is supplied.
Accessory index wheels in 64, 80, and 120 configurations are available from the manufacturer. The machine has been in continuous production for several decades and remains part of Facetron's current catalog.
