The Lortone Lortone LU-6X Cabbing Combo Unit is a 6-wheel cabochon machine in current production. A single-shaft motor drives a sequential progression of diamond-charged wheels arranged for left-to-right cabbing.
The machine is supplied with an integrated water drip feed and splash shield. Wheels are individually replaceable; matching dressing pucks and replacement belts are stocked by the manufacturer.
Cabochon machines of this class are positioned at the working tier of the lapidary tool market. Replacement wheels and service parts are available through the specialty lapidary retail channel.
