Overview

The NovaLap 50,000-mesh lap is a 8-inch plated lap supplied with a 1/2-inch arbor hole compatible with standard bench faceting machines. Bond material is plated with embedded diamond at the stated grit.

In the manufacturer's grit ladder, the 50,000-mesh configuration is positioned as a final-polish stage lap. Working life varies with material and stone hardness; dressing guidance is printed on the lap label.

The NovaLap product line spans grits from approximately 260 to 50,000 mesh in matching 8-inch form factor. Replacement plates and dressing pucks are available from the manufacturer.
