Two-Pin Transfer Block

Overview

The Ultra Tec two-pin transfer block is a machined alignment fixture used to re-mount a partially cut gemstone from one dop stick to another. It accepts 1/2-inch dop shafts in a pair of V-groove pins.

Transfer blocks of this class are listed by the manufacturer as providing sufficient concentricity for trade-grade faceting work. Higher-precision blocks with adjustable pads are offered at a higher price point.

The fixture is anodized aluminum with a machined base. Replacement pins are available as service parts from the manufacturer.
