Limited Edition Faceting Machine

Overview

The Facetron Limited Edition Faceting Machine is a bench faceting machine offered in current production. The system uses a digital angle mechanism and a 1/12 HP DC variable-speed drive. An 8-inch master lap and 96-tooth index wheel are supplied as standard.

Manufacturer specifications list spindle total indicated runout at .0005". The quill accepts 1/2-inch dop shafts, the de facto standard across North American lapidary practice; accessory laps and dops from third-party manufacturers are compatible without adapter.

The machine is positioned in the manufacturer's catalog among comparable mast-and-quill systems. Replacement laps, additional index wheels, and service parts are available from the manufacturer or through the specialty lapidary retail channel.
